CDI launches the world's first ChatGPT prompt design course for conversational AI

Prompt Designer for Conversational AI

CDI has launched a new training course that teaches how Large Language Models (LLMs) like ChatGPT can be used when creating enterprise chatbots. The course is aimed at chatbot developers, and non-engineering teams working with generative AI where accuracy is important. Conversation designers, AI trainers, customer services professionals, and marketing teams who develop chatbot personas and tone-of-voice using AI will benefit from the new training modules.

The course is the first of its kind designed specifically to benefit from AI tools like ChatGPT to create value when designing  virtual assistants. The course will be delivered by experts with real world examples to refer to, the practical skills to teach and who are fully immersed in chatbot design.

“This course is great for people that want to use ChatGPT to be more productive, creative and create better conversational experiences for users – it doesn’t teach you how to run an LLM-powered chatbot, but how to use prompt design principles,” explains Hans van Dam, CEO and founder of CDI.

“These principles can be used immediately without having to rebuild the tech stack, and we demonstrate how ChatGPT is useful at every step of our chatbot design workflow, to add value by making things better, faster or more creative.

“If you work in an organization where the outcome is critical – where a lack of accuracy will cost money, and the response must be accurate first time, then this course is for you or your teams.”

The course is split into three sections - Strategize, Design and Build - across 16 short videos that takes between four and eight hours to complete. It is a living course that will be updated and new videos added regularly to keep pace with technological innovation. The course covers the following elements.

  • Use cases – brainstorming the use for chatbots in your organization
  • What kind of technology do you need to build a chatbot?
  • Audience – kickstart audience insights or go deeper on what your audience needs
  • Persona – the best personality and tone of voice for your chatbot
  • Understanding the user journey – deepen the understanding of your audiences circumstances
  • Training phrases – how to create phrase that improve cognition
  • Out of scope – using LLMs to handle out of scope content for questions you didn’t expect.

Large language models are having a big impact on how organizations are creating and using chatbots. Some are already experimenting with LLM powered chatbots that run in real time, and others are exploring the options.

This course allows people that are currently creating chatbots, to work outside of their vendor solutions to be more productive and create better chatbots. The skills developed by working with ChatGPT are transferable to LLM powered chatbots that run on other large language models.

If you want to improve the productivity of your chatbot teams and AI systems then the new course will help achieve better conversational experiences for customers and users.
